Windows Raster and USB Driver Compatibility Information

The Windows Raster drivers for the TSP700 and TSP800 are compatible only with parallel and USB interfaces. Additionally not all versions of printer Firmware can support all possible features.To check the version of firmware installed in your printer:

• Switch the printer on with the FEED switch held. The printer will print a self test page.
• The first line of the self test should be similar to: '*** TSP700 Verxxx -byyy' where 'xxx' represents the printer firmware version.

Once you have established your printer's firmware level, please check it for compatibility against the chart below. TSP700 and TSP800 firmware is stored on a FlashROM, if you require an update please contact your supplier.

TSP700 Compatibility:

• Raster graphics printing - All versions of TSP700 support printing raster graphics (via a parallel interface)
• USB Interface - Version 1.3 or later is requires for USB interface support.

TSP800 Compatibility:

• Raster graphics printing - Version 2.1 or later is required to support printing raster graphics (via a parallel interface)
• USB Interface - Version 2.2 or later is requires for USB interface support.
