STAR STANDARD FOR PRINT BUNNY TICKETING SYSTEM

In a joint announcement made today, specialist distributor, DED, and brand-leading printer manufacturer, Star Micronics, confirmed that ticketing solutions developer, Directional Data, is standardising on the Star Micronics TSP600 for its world-renowned ‘Print Bunny’ solution.

A cost effective, fast and easy-to-operate ticketing system, Print Bunny is standalone, negating the need for a PC and is used primarily to issue tickets at major events. Used at this year’s Ideal Home Exhibition in London, other events that Print Bunny has been selected for include Las Vegas’ ‘Fun Expo’, Newbury’s Showman’s Show, IAAPA in Orlando and Manchester’s Restaurant and Bar Show.

Print Bunny purchasers adopt the system because of its low unit and ticket stock cost, small footprint, and simple operation enabling easy ticket design. Revenue security is also assured via operator ID codes and full audit trail facilities. The Star Micronics TSP600 brings to the solution high quality, two-colour thermal output at a fast 100mm per second and complements Print Bunny by offering sophisticated performance at a budget price. Ticket speed printing is also enhanced by the printer’s autocutter facility and drop-in & print paper loading design.
